The Wines of Austria have held a special place in my heart. Especially since a post-Covid19 Lockdown wine trip to Vienna that coincided with an internal conflict I was having with my purpose in the world of wine and hospitality at large. I was seeking new meaning and purpose in my career in wine, and greater connection. Fortunately I did found what I was looking for. I continue to seek greater connection and the wines of Austria are the source of this inspiration. I bring that energy to the Parcelle Wine Studio Salon Session public with a tastings of a selection of Austrian and some Hungarian wines.

THE NEXT PHASE OF THE PARCELLE WINE STUDIO OFFERING COLLABORATIVE STORYTELLING ENGAGEMENTS ALIGNED with CREATORS & BRANDS

Parcelle Wine Studio by Christopher Sealy presents the ‘Culture Sessions’ – some of you may already be familiar with the Salon Wine Tasting Sessions and the occasional Chef Dinner Collaborations. Today Parcelle evolves into the Culture Collaborations. A collaborative vision where Parcelle Wine Studio by Christopher Sealy wine education and storytelling intersects with the CULTURE of select creators and artisans, and brands.

Connecting in the worlds of food, art, literature, perfume, and sound etc. The collaborative partner is invited to present their particular craft or product, their origin story, shedding light on their perspective on the world

The participants will be exposed to specific foundational elements of the creators’ craft through storytelling, scent and taste.

We will draw parallels for guests to connect how we as individuals and as a collective see, taste, sense and observe the world around us and of course, a wine story will always be woven throughout the times we spend together

Sunday October 19th with Toon Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This theme of ‘Connection’ as we talk, taste and discover the origin story of this relatively new enterprise. Toon is a brand partly based in Toronto and in Lebanon. The brand vision is to bring the essence of the Levant to you in Toronto. Alongside the founding partners, Christina and Omar we explore the intertwined history of olive oil and wine while we talk and taste through a selection of their products.

A ‘Connection’ to the History, the Origin Stories, the Flavours of the Levant. The Olive is at the heart of the Mediterranean and alongside wine to lift the spirit. Wherever we might be in the world we are connected when we sit and share at the table. Our many histories are more similar than not.

4pm – Sunday October 19th $110 per person: Toon Olive Oil and their artisanal products with a guided wine tasting and storytelling. Guests will leave with an artisanal crafted Toon Olive Oil Soap

Sunday October 26th with Blooming Chaos: Seeing the World Through Scent. A celebration of Life & Style. Giuseppe de Caria is the visionary and creative architect behind the fragrances of Blooming Chaos.

The universe of Blooming Chaos is nurtured and formed with only natural ingredients in mind. As an artist intuits a path to creation through the chaos of a vision. Just as an architect gives form to a concept as a structure, the artist, alone, is guided by energy and a feeling towards the blooming form of the art, the fragrance.

The underlying theme of this session is ‘Life & Style’. Exploring elements that help define the style of life we want to pursue. Guided by our senses in a multi-layered experience of scent and taste - we can learn how to make the best choices for ourselves.

Blooming Chaos products are created solely with the most natural of ingredients. It is this choice that makes the difference. In addition, Parcelle Wine Studio presents wines made organic and as natural as possible. What we absorb into our bodies via our skin or via ingestion needs great consideration.

4pm – Sunday October 26th $145 – A journey for the senses with Blooming Chaos – multilayered journey in fragrance and wine. The event includes a guided wine tasting, a Blooming Chaos journey in scent and aroma including a Blooming Chaos Fragrance for your home.
